About

The Management Development Centre (MDC) is a semi-autonomous arm of the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) under the Faculty of Commerce.  It was established in 1978 to offer solutions to challenges that managers and officers face in the private and public sectors.  

MDC runs short courses and in-house training programs in various areas including Marketing Management, Customer Care, Financial Management, General Management Systems, Supervisory and Management Skills, Management Information Systems, International Business, Small and Medium Business Management, Human Resource Management, Transport Management, Management Control Systems, Communication Management and Effective Leadership.

MDC also carries out research and consultancies in the areas mentioned above on behalf of different clients in the public and private sector of the economy.
