Nalikule College of Education is a degree offering institution of higher learning established by the government of Malawi under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.  Construction of the College was completed  It was constructed with funding support from the Government of the People of Japan as one way of increasing the number of qualified secondary school teachers for sciences and mathematics with a student capacity of 720.  The College was purposefully designed to be fully disability accessible and to accommodate equal numbers of male and female students.  Although 80% of students enrolled at the College major in Science and Mathematics, 20% major in languages.  Social Sciences are not being offered at this time. Attached to the College is a Demonstration Secondary School which operates as a Model Day Secondary School with a student capacity of 400.  Subjects offered at the demonstration secondary school mirror the subject specializations at the College.
