NCHE Embarks on Public University Selection and Application Sensitization Campaign

The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) in conjunction with the six public universities: Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS), Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mzuzu University (MZUNI) and University of Malawi (UNIMA); will be holding sensitization sessions for those intending to apply for admissions into undergraduate generic programmes for the 2020/21 academic year. The sessions will run from 31st May to 5th June,2021 across the country.
These sensitization sessions will aim at giving the prospective candidates, parents and guardians an opportunity to interface with the teams from the six public universities and NCHE and learn about programmes being offered and application procedures for admissions into the respective institutions.
The sensitization sessions will be held in all districts at selected venues but candidates are free to attend the sessions at any venue of their choice. The venues and dates for these sessions are indicated below.
During these sessions, the application forms will be made available to the prospective candidates for free. Forms can also be obtained from all the District Commissioner (DC) and District Education Manager (DEM) offices in all the districts.
An alternative Online Application Form will also be demonstrated to the prospective candidates. Prospective students, parents and guardians are encouraged to attend these important sessions.
