NCHE on Sensitization Campaign for 2021/22 Public University Selection

The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), in conjunction with the six public universities: Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS), Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mzuzu University (MZUNI) and University of Malawi (UNIMA), will be holding sensitisation sessions for those intending to apply for the undergraduate generic programmes for the 2021/22 academic year from Monday 14th March to Saturday 19 March, 2022.
These sensitization sessions aim at giving the prospective candidates, parents and guardians an opportunity to interface with the teams from the six public universities and NCHE in order for them to learn about programmes being offered, make an informed decision about the choices on offer and how they can fill both the physical and the online application form.
The sensitization sessions will be held in all districts at selected venues but candidates are free to attend the sessions at any venue of their choice. The venues and dates for these sessions are indicated below.
During these sessions, the application forms will be made available to the prospective candidates for free and they can also be obtained from all the District Commissioner (DC) and District Education Manager (DEM) offices in all the districts.
The Online Application Process will also be demonstrated to the prospective candidates.
All the prospective candidates, parents and guardians are encouraged to attend and get the necessary information during these sessions.

Candidates should take note that travel expenses to and from the venues will NOT be reimbursed.
NOTE: ALL COVID-19 MEASURES WILL BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO. EACH SESSION WILL ALLOW ONLY 250 PARTICIPANTS. THE PARTICIPANTS SHOULD REMEMBER TO WEAR FACE MASKS, SOCIAL DISTANCE AND SANITIZE.
