About the Rice 360° Institute for Global Health Global Health Fellowship

The Rice 360° Institute for Global Health offers innovative undergraduate & graduate programs that engage students to design and implement new technologies to solve real global health challenges. Through the minor, internships, fellowships and Ph.D. programs, these early stage technologies are designed, evaluated, refined, deployed and scaled across the world.

The Rice 360° Institute for Global Health Global Health Fellowship is a 1-year post-baccalaureate fellowship for exceptional early-career engineers with an interest in medical technology for low-resource settings. The fellowship is open to graduating seniors and recent graduates who have received an engineering bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Recent graduates may have up to 3 years of experience or a masters degree and up to 1 year experience. Candidates must demonstrate a prior interest in global health technology development.

 

Funding

Fellows will receive a living stipend and full benefits package, funding for technology development and possible international travel.  Fellows may opt to extend their fellowship to a second year. 


Eligibility
